This is a very collectable walking stick featuring a dog coming out of the handle. Note the stones stacked behind the dog and the additional intricate carving details in the dog. A very fine stick. This piece measures 36"x 5" x 1". The ferrule measures 1.5", the collar .75". The handle measures 1.75" x 5" x 1".

This is a rare, late 19th century American carved walking stick. This stick features two color glass eyes, a signed sterling collar and a Malacca weighted shaft. The ferrule is brass and doubles as a mechanism which lets a dog run in circles without tangling - how great is that? This ingenious stick measures 36 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/4. This interesting circa 1920s walking stick has a carved pelican's head for a handle. In its beak, the bird is holding what looks like a melon. Handle measures are 4 inches. The bird has glass eyes and the head sits on top of a rosewood shaft 1/4 inch in diameter and a 1-1/4-inch ivory tip. Overall length of this stick is 35-1/2 inches.
