| John Slobodnik, the Chicago illustrator, executed this wonderful patriotic painting in the 1960s. Of oil on canvas board, it depicts an elderly hunter, his dog, and the American flag. This painting reinforced American values then and it does so today. Dimensions are 24 x 18 inches, sight size. It is signed by the artist lower right.
