| Howard L. Hastings, the early to mid-20th century animal painter, painted this oil on canvas depicting an equestrienne taking her bay hunter over the wall. It is signed & dated 1930. Hastings illustrated for many of the early-to-mid-20th century outdoor magazines, including "Outdoor Life" and American Sportsman." This extremely well done horse painting has a lot of motion and detail and is in fine condition.
