c.1910 TAXIDERMY PHEASANT DIORAMA/GRIEB/ALL ORIGINAL
This exceptionally mounted pheasant diorama was assembled circa 1910 by the Buffalo, New York artist-conservator Herman Grieb. Grieb worked for the Buffalo Historical Museum from 1910 to 1935. The pheasant is shown in his natural habitat entirely executed and painted by hand by this famous American taxidermist. This piece is in superb condition---one of the best we've seen---in its original oak shadow box frame. Dimensions: 27 inches high by 43 inches wide.
