The flag can be removed and stored in the box when the lid is on. This game measures 5-1/5 x 10-1/2 x 10-1/2 with the lid on. With the lid off and the flag up it measures 9 x 10-1/2 x 10-1/2. What a great find for any horse enthusiast!
