This circa 1900 ivory letter opener remains a handsome and functional writing accessory for the desk. Overall length is 14-1/2 inches. 6-1/8 inch handle. 8-5/8 inch blade. Sterling silver collar. This is something you would not want to put away in a drawer.

This is a well carved ivory cane. The articulate detail on the cob is justifiably grand. The husk is peeled back on top and sides to reveal the niblets of corn and the exposure reveals the greater details. piece by piece. The shaft is ebonized. The tip is Ivory. 1900's cane. 35" handle is 5" x 1"
