This spectacular large German 800 silver swing handle wedding basket has beautiful detailing and dates between 1890 and 1920. This beautiful German sterling silver miniature sleigh, pulled by a reindeer, serves as a salt cellar due to the glass insert which, incidentally, is devopid of chips. The sleigh is stamped with English import marks when it was imported to Great Britain. They are hard to photograph clearly, but there are the initials E.T.B. in cartouche, the rampant lion, the letter S, and a leopard's head.
