This is an amazing diorama the features a once real parrot that has been to the taxidermist. The parrot, the frame, all of it is in amazing condition. There is a signature of the painter/artist on the inside of the piece. This is a fantastic Bakelite walking stick that features a polo player atop his horse. The Bakelite is green and yellow and has great striations. The collar and ferrule are both metal and the shaft is hardwood. Circa 1935 this great stick measures 34" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The handle by itself is 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1/4" and the ferrule is 1". A great stick!

This interesting circa 1920s walking stick has a carved pelican's head for a handle. In its beak, the bird is holding what looks like a melon. Handle measures are 4 inches. The bird has glass eyes and the head sits on top of a rosewood shaft 1/4 inch in diameter and a 1-1/4-inch ivory tip. Overall length of this stick is 35-1/2 inches.

This is a fantastic oil on Masonite painting of Columbus landing at the Indian Islands. This painting is signed and dated 1921 by artist Frank Herbert Zeitler of Germany. Zeitler was born in Germany in 1874 and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 30, 1940. His obituary, which appeared in the Milwaukee Journal, 7/31/1940, noted that his religious paintings (including murals) and sculptures were in churches in many parts of the world. This is an exquisite set of nine dresser pieces that are in fantastic shape. The pieces include a cuticle stick, nail buffer, mirror, brush, shoe horn, powder jar, cotton ball jar, toothbrush holder and monogrammed jar. These pieces do show some wear but for their age and the amount of love and use they are in outstanding shape. The mirror is an especially amazing find, very heavy, good quality glass. This is a unique bulldog walking stick. The handle of the stick is ivory and the bulldog on the end is metal. There is a very thin silver collar that separates the shaft from the ivory. There is a good amount of detail on this dog and the rosewood shaft is in good condition. The ferrule is ivory as well. This stick measures 35 1/4" x 5" x 1 1/4".
